Deploying TechBio Innovation with Partnership

TechBio innovation can involve employing skills and resources from a wide range of organisations – scientific and technology related – or both. Dafydd Wright, our Managing Partner, was pleased to spend yesterday in Cambridge with industry colleagues from the TechBio space, exploring partnership ideas and opportunities.

Organised by Bruntwood SciTech, Deploying TechBio Innovation with Partnership, hosted talks that covered identifying technology gaps and how to find the right partner. The speakers, who included Dan Gare from TTP, Ben Cross from Phoremost, Jason Yip from Tailor Bio, Bobby Kaura from Illumina and James Fry from Mills and Reeve Solicitors, discussed creating partnership frameworks and how to successfully manage an ongoing relationship.

Hosted at Cambridge Solicitors, Mills & Reeve, the event was a valuable opportunity to stay in touch with this exciting innovation in life sciences. “The growth of automation and machine learning has generated exciting opportunities for technology to power biological research. It’s a fast-moving area and it was valuable to hear about recent innovation as well as to catch up with industry colleagues,” commented Dafydd.
